This must be underwater love, they way i feel it slipping over me

Follow me now to a place you only dreamt of before I came along

This song has the ability to temporarily turn you into a mermaid. I just want to be exploring a shipwreck to this one with my waterproof headphones on.

Just me and you, floating in this space

Looking at the stars
Forgot so many stars
Palm trees silhoutte
It's torn and dark against the sky
I'll take you higher
Please come with me

Natural Calamity's Dark Water and Stars is ultra chill. Nothing could go wrong while your bodies being engulfed by the soothing surf vibe of the guitar and put in a trance from the tantalizing vocals. Will probably leave you contemplating things like how far away the next galaxy is or how the moon effects the gravitational pull of the tides. Heard it when I listened to Jack Johnson's soundtrack to the film Thicker Than Water for the first time and instantly fell in love.

What you want is just outside your reach..

Real Estate serves up smooth, chiming, staccato guitars that are reminiscent of the sun soaked sounds of West Coast surf pop of years past. On "Beach Combers" they find a welcome balance of psychedelia and heartfelt harmony. Used to run on the beach at night to this song and the beat seemed to gently roll perfectly in sync with the waves.

Everything..in its riiigghtt place.

Gigamesh 's remix of Radiohead's Everything In It's Right Place is unbelievable. Causes temporary paralisation of neural structures and produces a state of disassociation with the real world. It's like being in two places at once watching your life play out before your eyes.

Run to the lights of the city, these moments pass and we'll be there.

A daze is what you're falling for when you listen to Cut Copy's Strangers In the Wind. The thing I love most about their new album is it works as a cohesive whole rather than a jumbled mix of singles with fillers in between. Some of the lovelist, shimmering retro-electro-disco I've ever heard. Leaves me yearning for some desert wandering.

Keep it cool, when I move, hittin' up my beaches.

...and you really gotta see what you're doing to me. The Twelves have done it again. This has been their year for insane remixes that are flawlessly assembled. This song screams summer. Makes me excited for sun-kissed skin and endless mooonlight dances. Groovability factor is off the charts.

No one else around And a shimmer takes my eye, I lift my head, blinded by the sky

Bag Raider's Shooting Star is a breath of fresh air. Perfect for late summer night cruises or stargazing on the roof.

Count the number of beings you are, see how long it takes you.

Tame Impala's psychedelic sound puts you in a time warp back to the 60's with songs that could have easily been recorded o in the Golden Gate Park Era of free spirits dancing barefoot with flowers in their hair. Their tone reminds me of The Beatles during their trippy Sergeant Pepper's days. In Sundrown Syndrome,Tame Impala create a colossal sound using valve amps and handmade effect pedals to put a modern twist on their rock and roll edge.

Tame Impala just released Inner Speaker a 6 track EP that continues to be influenced by some of the greatest 60's bands. Desire Be Desire Go and 41 Mosquitoes Flying In Formation totally have a 13th Floor Elevators kind of vibe while tracks like Skeleton Tiger and Half Glass Full Of Wine are dangerously comparable to Cream. I've been waiting for a band like this to break through in our generation.

If I could just leave my body for the night

Animal Collective' new album is like a voyage through an acid trip. The CD opens with In the Flowers, a hypnotizing introduction that sends you on a euphoric journey gradually building up to the climactic moment at 2:31 that holds you in time. It's a frolic of shimmering synths, reverb-soaked vocals, and thump-and-tumble percussion. Seriously one of the most captivating and epic songs I've come across in a while. Has the force to make your mind leave your body and dizzy up your knees.
