Woke up as a snowflake on an ocean. I looked over, I saw you floating next to me

Sort of like a dream? No, better...These songs pair with a Sunday night almost as well as champagne and cupcakes do for breakfast.

Remember we exploded in the desert? A mirage of one thousand halos landing in the sand, drowning the moonlight hour.

^The RAC remix of this one is awesome as well.

Welcome to my spaceship you're beautiful forever

Sunday chillin' on the misty mountain top, the lush greenery hazily coated in clouds with only the most unruly twisted and tangled branches emerging from the fog. It created an eerie atmosphere for hooping, circling in and out of vision into oblivion. I've missed the mountains but not nearly as much as I already miss the feel of the fiery sun soaking into my skin. Can't wait to get back to the beach but for the meantime here's some rain-dance-in-your-bikini-and-rainboots-splashing-in-the-puddles jams. Gear up and Enjoy.

One is a number, the heart is a hunter.

When you move like a jellyfish rhythm don't mean nothing, you go with the flow you don't stop

Been living in a daydream haze fantasizing l'm still at Coachella seeing how many one-handed cartwheels I could do in a row down the polo fields, spinning my way into oblivion. Here's some highlight from the magical weekend..

Trentemoller

I thought I had already lost my virginity but I was mistaken, Trentemoller stole it at sunset. Never in my life have I felt sexier then ripping my hair down during Moan and letting my waves ride freely in the breeze, sweat instantaneously being dried off from the warm wind leaving just enough drops trickling down my chest to glisten perfectly in the sunset. You could hear the pure raw emotion pouring straight out from Ander's harmonica as soon as he started wailing away. Complete loss of control from 1:30 on when Anne screams "JUMP!" and a flash of bright white light hits the Mojave tent blasting everyone in the crowd orbiting airbound, limbs flawlessly flailing uncontrollably towards the sky.

Been thinking too much about you. See the sunset with no sleep at all.

the song ended, everyone took a second to recover and simultaneously turned around only to be left completely mesmerized again, this time by the brilliant purple sky as the ferris wheel turned its' neon lights in sync with the setting sun melting into the rolling hills. I could feel the energy running through the beads of my necklace as I rolled them softly across my chest, closing my eyes hoping that when I reopened them I wasn't dreaming. Everything was carefully crafted for the moment. The music matched the mood, their songs fitting together perfectly in place like puzzle pieces. I think part of my soul is still sifting through the desert sand.

Here's an amazing HD video that really captures the essence of the set.

Chemical Brothers

Completely blown away by chemical brothers visuals. Hands down the best of the entire festival. I'll just let you see for yourself on this one. Also, the 3D glasses they gave you for the show made the slow motion running figures look like they were traveling down an endless mirror "To fall in love, there's nothing else..."

Shponglr

But tell me...are you experienced? Have you ever been experienced?

I don't know what was more wild, the ever-changing, yet always constant eye watching over our every move or the fact that Shpongle was wearing a Peter Pan hat, taking us all on a journey to Neverland with him. What I can say is that I now know what my boy Hendrix really meant when he posed the question "Have you ever been experienced?" Shpongle is more than just a concert, it's an interactive performance carefully orchestrated to blow your mind.

Afrojack

There's something magical about collaborations between artists from completely different genres coming together to create an overwhelmingly original experience for the people. The childlike wonder grazed upon everyone's faces as Afrojack was joined backstage by Paul McCartney and Usher is indescribable.

One single touch from you I'm gone, still get the rush when I'm alone.

Take over control has been my musical morphine for months. No matter how many times I hear it, it still has me fiending for more. The lyrics hit home hard, perfectly describing that uncontrollable desperation for desire. Mix that with an infectious bassline and it creates the perfect storm, each beat striking like lightning and bass rumbling through our bodies like thunder. I WANT TO LIVE IN THE SAHARA TENT!

Mentionable Moments:

I unfortunately didn't get to catch all of Ratatat's set but seemed to have incredible timing for as I was passing the tent during their set, I heard the unmistakable guitar slides of WILD CAT which just so happens to be my theme song of life. I immediately rushed the stage and next thing I know I'm being tossed into the air surfing through the sea of people letting my claws out and growling at everyone I passed. Can you say EPIC?!

Daydream, I fell asleep beneath the flowers, for a couple of hours. what a beautiful day.

Playing a daytime set is a whole different animal. People are significantly more laid back just grooving in the grass, soaking up the sweet California sunshine. I have to say there's no one I would have rather heard upon arrival day three in the hot desert heat than Nas and Damian Marley. They took the crowd on the road to Zion as I lounged under a giant dandelion sculpture staring up at the drifting clouds and patches of smoke from the spliffs being passed openly through the crowd. They closed their set with a cover of one of my favorite Bob songs, Could You Be Loved. A feel good classic and a great way to start the afternoon with a frozen lemonade in hand.

"My people are in the Do Lab." Entering the Do Lab was similar to being greeted by a tail-wagging dog waiting to lick your face when you came through the door, always there to raise your spirits no matter what the circumstances. Sure, the big name DJ's might have gotten the most fist pumping, show stopping action overall, but the real party people knew that the Do Lab was the place to go whether night or day or rain or shine to get their daily dose of raging in. Huge hoses were constantly being sprayed through the sopping wet crowd to cool down all of the hot messes and keep the energy level just as high as the beach balls being bounced around.

Chuckie's buikdups ignite like a bomb waiting to explode causing catastrophic movements to destroy the dance floor and set the souls of your shoes on fire.

Tales that I tell...

Overall awesome day a Greenfield Park yesterday. Ran the lake twice looking for 'gators but only saw one's eyes peering out from below the murky water. I did happen to meet the cutest little blonde boy who instantly became my best friend when he exchanged me a handful of fruit loops to feed the mossy turtles for five minutes play on my hula hooop. 3 hours and a whole bag of fruit loops later, we had moved onto chasing the birds and trying hoop tricks out on the bridge. I brought my portable boombox player so we started dancing around the dock trying to play Duck, Duck, Goose! with real geese.

The best version of what I could imagine Just happened, and I'm on the shore standing, but it's hard in the sand. So she holds my hand and says, " follow my lead." Found her in the sunset, but it was all a dream...
