Surfer surfista, samba dancer sambista

Watching raindrops painting patterns on the windowpane sends me daydreaming about "a pear, a peach, and a girl on the beach..."

Cerebellum'a swimming through the sounds of Smoke City. Aguas de Marco means rain of March, which is Rio De Janiero's rainiest month. The inspiration for Agua de Marco comes from a track that shares same name and is composed by Antonio Carlos Jobin. The song epitomizes the emotions of the Brazilian's toublesome strugggles during flood season. It's considered by many to be the anthem of the land.

Fun fact: In the original tune, instead of telling a story, every line of lyrics (written in portuguese,) all start with the letter E.

Surfer surfista, samba dancer sambista.
Nada is to swim and nothing too,
Viajar is to travel, you can come too.
To smoke, e’ fumar
To escape, escapar
Joga bossa nova samba

Another Portuguese beauty. Her voice gives me a pocketful of zen. Here's the english translation:

Only With You

only To Know
what I Don't Know
I Just Want To See
Having Not You For Me

Where I Don't Know
Only For You
Teach Me To See
What I Don't Know To See Too

hmm, Only With You
I Just Want To See
Only Me With You

only To Know
Qhat I Don't Know
I Just Want To See
Having Not You For Me
