There's a party in my head and no one is invited.

Space around me where my soul can breathe
I've got body that my mind can leave
Nothing else matters I don't care what I miss
Company's okay, solitude is bliss

Tame Impala has been blowing my mind since the first time I heard Sundown Syndrome. Psychedlic rock dripping with the sounds of the Beatles, Cream, and 13th Floor Elevators. Their debut album Inner Speaker is unbelievable. One of those albums you can play out and groove to without ever wanting to change a song. Tame Impala are a rare jem jam band that still seem to capture the 60's and 70's vibe perfectly. Get the album and melt your ears off.

The girl with kaleidoscope eyes

I've been going through such a bassnectar phase lately. I used to be a sucker for trance which is still true but now my life would also be incomplete without dirty dubstep and filthy basslines. This song was featured on one of his recent podcasts. He adds a trippy twist to the already insane original. Beatles and badass beats? perrfecttt.

Eyes lit. I want short breaths, I want dark eyelids. Nice breasts, like summer into rough hands.

Crystal castles have such raw appeal. They somehow make arcade noises and drowning moans work together to create surging sounds that travel straight to your core.

I believe in anything that brings you back home to me

All I can think of is twinkling stars.

Your dreams will become part of the future and coincide with the past

In a hot air balloon with a rusty nail, looking over your shoulder and setting sail.

This one's for all you graduates out there. This is your time to shine. Your only young once so embark on as many adventures as you can. Fanfarlo's Harold T. Wilkins or How To Wait For A Very Long Time may help you in your endeavors. Listening to it is kind of like continuously spinning round a tilt- a-whirl. They have a Talking Heads and Beirut kinda vibe with powerful vocals and a corky twist. May cause involuntary head bobbing.

I believe you could be what I need to believe

It's the same old song
That I always sing each year
But because it's perennial
Don't make it less real

Some songs just sound better through a pair of good quality headphones. Simian Mobile Disco's I believe is definitely one of those jams. They send the music pulsating through your ears straight into your cerebellum. Used to rock out to this on my roller skates as I cruised around the track.

Happiness passes, it will flee. Nevermind, soon I will die .

I've developed a soft spot for French electro lately. Depth Affect's Dorothea Land has an addicting and catchy vibe. Perfect combination of handclaps, pop synth sounds, and skipping track vocal beats.

Take me disappearing through the smoke rings of my mind

Aether's stand out track Orfeu Negro is unpredictable. It takes you on a journey letting you ride the beat accompanied by ethereal horns and echoing voices. Spins a funky web of elements and different sounds ranging from rhythmic spanish guitar to pulsing piano keys.

There's no place that can be better ,when you're up in clouds forever.

Pacify your mind with islands
Colored snow and green-field skies

Just woke up from a crazy dream and needed something super groovy to get the day going right. Some trippy 70's Strawberry Alarm Clock was the obvious solution.
