Cover Wednesday

Music makes the mood and I can't seem to shy away from that feel good beachy music lately. It could have something to do with the tease of warm weather we've been having that has finally seemed to melt the icy chip off of people's shoulders. This week's cover feature, Xavier Rudd, has also been known to heat things up and spread his good vibrations through people like wildfire. His songs carry an aura of heartfelt refreshment and they really seem to come to life onstage. He's a man of the earth with most of his songs revolving around the beauty found in nature and will probably be spotted barefoot playing one of his three didjeridoos (which he switches out regularly throughout his set) while simultaneously banging to the beat on several tribal drums. Throw a couple of cymbals in the mix and a voice as soft as behind a puppy's ear and you've unmasked this one man wonder. Here's a cover he perormed of Bob Marley's classic, No Woman No Cry.
